Competition Venue
Participants have the option to participate in these competitions at one of the following three locations:
· UTAR Sungai Long Campus

· UTAR Kampar Campus

· TAR UMT Penang Campus

Registration Fee
1. Registration fee of RM10 per person is applicable, regardless of the number of categories you participate in. Payment should be made to MMLM Public Bank account no. 3137894528.
2. Registration fees are WAIVED for the following groups:
(a) Children aged six (6) or under.
(b) Students of primary schools, secondary schools, and institutions of higher education.
(c) Senior citizens aged 60 and above.
Competition Eligibility and Prize Criteria
1. Participants who have won first prizes in the same competition for two consecutive years are ineligible to participate for the following two years.
2. The top scorer in the senior citizen category will be eligible for a prize, subject to a minimum of 20 participants in this category.
3. The Best School Prize will be awarded to the school with the highest number of registered students in each competition category, provided that the school has a minimum of 20 students in that category.

Announcement of Results
1. Winners' results will be published on mmlm.utar.edu.my on 23 September 2024.
2. You may access your results online until 15 November 2024.
3. Winners will receive email notifications and invitations to attend the award ceremony at the 18th Malaysia Festival of the Mind, held in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair 2024.
Instructions for Bank-In Slip/Receipt Submission
1. Please email the bank-in slip / receipt
to mmlm@utar.edu.my.
2. Please indicate the participant's name and competition categories i.e. Memory Competition / Mind Mapping Competition / Mental Calculation Competition in the bank-in slip / receipt.
Terms and Conditions
1. All registrations MUST be accompanied by payment or verification from a school teacher or university/college lecturer.
2. Fees paid are non-refundable; however, replacement of participants may be permitted.
3. The Malaysia Mental Literacy Movement (MMLM) reserves the right to amend and/or change the competitions if circumstances beyond its control warrant. Participants will be notified of any changes 3 days prior to the event.
4. Personal data collected will be protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
5. Participation in the competition implies the participant's agreement to abide by the competition rules, regulations, terms and conditions, as well as the decisions made by the Organiser, which shall be final.
6. The judges' decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
Important Instructions
1. Please remember to bring your own stationery, including pencils, pens, coloured pencils, erasers, markers, crayons, etc., for the competitions.
2. Arriving early on the day of the event is recommended. We kindly ask you to review all rules and regulations by visiting the following link: mmlm.utar.edu.my.
