Who We Are

The Malaysia Mental Literacy Movement (MMLM) was established by Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr. Ling Liong Sik and officially registered under the Societies Act 1966 on 4 July 2006.

MMLM is dedicated to advancing mental literacy, cognitive development, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) engagement, equipping individuals with the skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.

What We Do

We promote lifelong learning and intellectual development through a range of initiatives:

Malaysia Festival of the Mind

A flagship annual event integrating mental literacy, cognitive development, and STEM learning through exhibitions, talks, forums, workshops, and interactive activities.

Mind Competitions

Annual competitions in Memory, Mind Mapping, and Mental Calculation, encouraging participants of all ages to develop and showcase their cognitive abilities.

Outreach & Learning Programmes

School engagements, public talks, workshops, and webinars covering:

• Creativity and critical thinking
• Memory enhancement and numeracy
• Learning strategies and the AI era
• STEM awareness and applications
• Problem-solving, innovation, and digital skills
